Spike TV Collaborates with GameTrailers.com on Video Game TV Show

NEW YORK, February 22: Spike TV
and online video-gamer site GameTrailers.com, both divisions of Viacom-owned
MTV Networks, have partnered for the enhanced version of the video game series Game
Head,
launching on the network tomorrow.

The collaboration is the first
multiplatform integration among MTVN Entertainment Group’s online and linear
properties. The new version of Game Head will
feature “On Location” and “GameTrailers Download” segments produced by
GameTrailers.com, and hosted by Amanda MacKay and Daniel Kayser. In the “On
Location” segment, MacKay will give viewers an insider look at red carpet
events and industry happenings. In the in-studio segment “GameTrailers
Download,” Kayser will highlight the latest and greatest from GameTrailers.com.
The two hosts will join Game Head host
Geoff Keighley, who travels to different industry hot zones each week to give
viewers his expert look into what's happening with the latest news, reviews and
previews in the video-gaming world.

"We are thrilled to partner with
GameTrailers.com," said Kevin Kay, the GM of Spike TV. "This new
collaboration is the first step in demonstrating the synergy within the MTVN
Entertainment Group by driving viewers and users to both brands. We are
combining forces among two leading video content suppliers, Spike in the TV
landscape and GameTrailers as a leading digital presence."

Serving over two million videos each day, GameTrailers has a
robust community where gamers can customize their personal profile pages,
upload user movies, write daily blogs, rate their favorite games, share their
opinions on forums and participate in the GT Marketplace user rewards program.
