Spike TV Acquires Unscripted Cop Series

NEW YORK, July 1: Spike TV
has acquired the first season of the unscripted series Read Vice Cops Uncut,
which is produced by Associated
Television International (ATI).

The show, filmed on location
in Memphis and Orlando, features ride-along access with local police agencies.
The six half-hour episodes will premiere August 6 and will be available online
at spike.com.

Jim Romanovich, the
president of worldwide media and entertainment for ATI, said: "Real
Vice Cops Uncut is an
unprecedented television experience. We have been allowed exclusive access to
various vice divisions to see how their undercover operations really work
without compromising the security of its officers who have to remain
undercover. In this series, you will see all the action and intense situations
you could ever expect.”
