BBC Inks New Distribution Deal with Kudos

LONDON, October 4: BBC
Worldwide has concluded a new distribution deal with Kudos Film and Television,
taking on more than 55 hours of prime-time output from the British independent.

The deal increases
the total Kudos catalogue with BBC Worldwide to almost 150 hours. This will
include international rights on both traditional and digital platforms.
Included in the new content agreement are new prime-time drama series for both
BBC and ITV, such as the 80s detective series Ashes to Ashes, the crime drama The Fixer, the spy series Liberty, and the recently launched police drama Holby
Blue.
In addition, BBC
Worldwide has taken on Kudos' teen targeted spy series, MI High.

Other Kudos titles
distributed by BBC Worldwide include Magicians House, Confidence Lab,
Hustle, Life on Mars
and Spooks, which has now been sold to over 70
broadcasters worldwide.
