Sony Implements Netflix Streaming

LOS GATOS: Netflix members can now instantly watch thousands of movies and TV shows directly on Internet-enabled Sony BRAVIA sets and Blu-ray disc player.

Through a previously signed partnership, Netflix’s 12,000-title catalogue is available through Sony BRAVIA Internet Video-capable HDTVs, previous BRAVIA models compatible with Sony’s BRAVIA Internet video link module and the Sony Network Blu-ray disc player. Separately, Netflix and Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced a partnership to make thousands of movies and TV episodes from Netflix available to be streamed instantly to TVs via the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system.
