NEW YORK: Of all the new shows that premiered around the world in June, a comedy special featuring Kev Adams on France's M6 generated the most social-media buzz with around 130,000 tweets, according to The WIT.

Kev Adams: Voilà, voilà sits atop the June 2015 Social Wit List. Broadcast on M6, it generated conversations around #LOLTweets and #FanCraze.

The revival of TFI Friday on Channel 4 in the U.K. generated about 92,000 tweets like #Kudos, #Brilliant, #Fun and #The90sAreBack. Following the success of the one-off special, a full season has been commissioned for the talk show.

In Germany, EinsPlus’ Deutscher Webvideopreis awards ceremony logged about 74,000 social-media mentions. The annual ceremony, which honors the country’s best online videos, was seen as being #Entertaining with an #EngagedAudience.

The Scream TV adaptation had about 68,000 tweets when it premiered on MTV and VH1 in the U.S. Conversation buzz words included #Entertaining, #StillScary and #NeverEndingMystery?

Disney Channel in the U.S. made the Social Wit List with Teen Beach 2, the sequel to its Teen Beach Movie special in 2013. The TV movie inspired conversations about #FanCraze, #MixedFeelingsforFinalTwist, and #TeenBeach3Wanted. It generated some 63,000 social-media mentions.

Mr. Robot, the critically acclaimed new hacker drama on USA Network, had viewers buzzing about the #Thrilling story line and offering #KudostoLeadActor (Rami Malek). There were some 49,000 tweets around the premiere.

In seventh on the Social Wit List is the Globo telenovela Verdades secretas with 48,000 mentions. The story of a woman who leaves her violent husband and finds a new lover—who happens to also be having an affair with her daughter—spawned discussions about #GoodProductionValues, #Catfights and #HotScenes.

M6 has a second show on the list with Les rois du shopping, in eighth place with 29,000 mentions. The series is a spin-off of the broadcaster’s hit Shopping Monsters adaptation. Social-media conversation topics include #LOLTweets, #FashionPolice and #SexWars.

A Deadly Adoption, the Lifetime TV movie with Kirsten Wiig and Will Ferrell, generated about 28,000 mentions. The melodramatic thriller spawned a variety of responses, from #Intriguing to #WTF to #Skepticism.

Rounding out the top ten most-buzzed-about premieres in June is the Turkish series Çilek Kokusu, airing on Star TV. Viewers responded to the new romantic drama with about 28,000 comments touching on #Chemistry, a #GreatCouple and the #StarActors.
