Smithsonian HD, Australia’s Seven Network Pick Up Mighty Ships

TORONTO: Discovery Channel Canada’s in-house production company, Exploration Production Inc. (EPI), has sold the entire library of Mighty Ships to Australia’s Seven Network and to Smithsonian Channel HD in the U.S.

The deals cover three seasons (6×1 hour), a pilot (1×1 hour) and a soon-to-be-produced fourth season (6×1 hour). The show, which offers behind-the-scenes access to extraordinary vessels, has also been sold in the U.K., Europe, Scandinavia and Southeast Asia.
