Sky Deutschland Increases Revenues, Narrows Net Loss

MUNICH: Pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland saw a 17-percent gain in its third quarter revenues to 284.5 million euros, with its net loss improved by 47.4 percent year-on-year to 46.9 million euros.

For the year to date, Sky’s revenues are 831 million euros, up 16 percent, while losses are down 30 percent to 187 million euros. Subscriber numbers are up, reaching 2.857 million, a gain of 13 percent, and churn is down 11 percent, from last year’s reported 19 percent.
