SIVOO Inks New Broadcast, Distribution Deals

PHILADELPHIA, June 1:
SIVOO Internet TV Network, which specializes in delivering multicultural
on-demand entertainment programming, has secured the exclusive broadcast and
distribution rights for the 22nd annual Miss Asian America Pageant,
and has also reached additional content deals with World Channel and Tai Seng
Entertainment.

This year’s Miss Asian
America Pageant is scheduled to take place on August 11 at the Palace of Fine
Arts Theater in San Francisco. It will broadcast exclusively on SIVOO.

In addition, SIVOO has
reached a deal to begin carrying programming from the San Francisco-based World
Channel, which offers in-language Chinese programming such as drama, news,
variety shows and locally produced entertainment and financial programs. SIVOO
has also reached an extended agreement to add 50 new movie titles from Tai Seng
Entertainment, a division of U2 Home Entertainment, to its Chinese-language
portal on www.sivoo.com. Under the agreement, the movie titles available will
include Butterfly Sword, from
action director Ching Siu Tung and starring Michelle Yeoh; Red Trousers: The
Life of the Hong Kong Stuntmen
, a
documentary starring Robin Shou; and Shaolin vs. Evil Dead, a horror-action movie starring Gordon Liu.
Viewers can access the new ad-supported programming for free through any web
browser.
