Dalva to Head Up Content for MTV Networks Entertainment Group

NEW YORK, November 19:
Eddie Dalva has been named senior VP of content for MTV Networks Entertainment
Group, charged with a wide array of programming responsibilities, including
seeking out co-ventures and digital content partnerships.

Dalva's primary focus will
be Spike TV, though he will also represent TV Land and Comedy Central in
certain instances. He will continue to seek out creative financing of
alternative scripted programming, as well as pursue international content
opportunities and programming enterprises.

Previously, Dalva served
as a consultant to Spike TV and TV Land, and was instrumental in launching
original projects such as DEA, Murder and Bullrun internationally. He also engineered the deal with MGM
Television Entertainment for a 2009 Spike TV original movie about Irish gang
warfare in Boston that will be directed by Walter Hill. Dalva joined Spike TV
from VH1.
