Shaw Direct Offers Online VOD Library

CALGARY: Shaw Direct has unveiled a new online VOD content library that brings on-demand entertainment to customers anywhere in Canada.

With Shaw Direct Online VOD, customers can watch hundreds of movies and TV shows at their convenience using the Internet. Titles available include The Switch, Despicable Me and Buried, as well as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Twilight: Eclipse, with more offerings being added each month. Shows from channels such as HGTV, Food Network and History Channel are also available, alongside new releases from Universal Studios, Maple Pictures and MGM. Customers with Movie Central as part of their TV package can also access movies and shows from Movie Central at no additional charge, allowing access to offerings such as HBO’s True Blood, Entourage and Eastbound and Down. The Movie Network subscribers can soon look forward to having the same content available through the online VOD service. Shaw Direct customers also have access to music programming from Galaxie Broadband Player, with 40 online channels.
