SevenOne Picks Up Dutch Comedy

MUNICH: SevenOne International has picked up the rights for the Dutch sketch comedy series Bonkers, which is set to premiere on SBS6 in 2012.

Bonkers offers 30 short sketches based on classic and newly invented jokes. Also featured is a stand-up comedian who roams the streets with a hidden camera and tells jokes to unsuspecting pedestrians.

Caroline Kusser, the director of North America at SevenOne International, said, "We are delighted to present this fresh and funny mix between a sketch comedy and hidden camera show to our buyers."
