SevenOne Lines Up Market Premieres for AFM

MUNICH: More than 70 new fiction offerings will be showcased by SevenOne International at the AFM, including events like Sea of Death and Factor 8.

Sea of Death, produced by Crazy Films, follows as an accident occurs on an oil platform and tourists start to die as a result. Factor 8, from Wiedemann & Berg Filmproduktion, watches as passengers onboard a flight from Thailand to Germany start to develop mysterious symptoms. In the way of action thrillers, Crash Point: Berlin, produced by Hager Moss Film, tells of a charter flight that is hurtling towards the center of downtown Berlin. In Caligari Film’s Cloud Chasers, a mysterious weather phenomenon threatens the life of a brave pilot. Further TV events include the romantic comedy Rabbit without Ears, from Barefoot Films and Warner Bros.

On the movie slate is Gonger II, a follow up to the first Gonger mystery. Shadows of Justice follows the hunt for a child molester. The multimedia project Kill your Darling incorporates online and mobile features into a fast-paced story about a merciless serial killer. There are also romantic comedies and dramas on SevenOne’s movie slate, including Naked Truth.

Series on offer include The Last Cop, about a hard-hitting cop who wakes up from a coma after 17 years; the dramedy S1NGLE, which is now in its second season; and The Medical Intern, which follows the personal and professional lives of a group of young doctors. The mini-series Two Santas, starring comedians Bastian Pastewka and Christoph Maria Herbst, rounds out the slate.
