SevenOne Lines Up Format Highlights

MUNICH: A broad portfolio of new formats will be on offer from SevenOne International, with Culture Shock: Norway, Money Trap and Ice Soccer among the highlights.

The reality show Culture Shock: Norway takes a group of ten disoriented Norwegian-Americans and drops them into the country of Norway to compete in a series of extreme physical challenges. In the final episode, the winner receives a $50,000 prize and a family reunion with long-lost relatives. The celebrity sports event Stars in Danger: Ice Soccer watches as players wear bowling shoes to play a game of soccer on an ice hockey rink. Other editions of Stars in Danger include Asian cooking Woks racing, Car Ball and Stock Car Crash Race. In each episode of Fobiac viewers are introduced to one fear and watch as three celebrities try to overcome that fear by taking on challenging tasks.

There’s also game shows, in the way of Money Trap. The series watches as two families receive a suitcase willed with 15,000 euros in cash, and the family with the most money remaining at the end of the show gets to keep their purchases. In the comedy sports format Kick the Pros, a football team of celebrities and regular fans is put up against the nation’s most loved, most successful and most hated football club. The finale is a live match that takes place in front of a packed stadium, with proceeds going to benefit charity. Summer Girls is a reality casting for young and sexy girls, while Battle of the Homes revolves around three couples, all close friends, who give their opitions on each other’s taste in interior decoration and are given the chance to redesign one room.

SevenOne will be distributing the format development output from the exclusive multi-year agreement with Dick de Rijk. There’s also three new entertainment shows: Funny Farm, The Ultimate Mechanic and The Perfect Donor. These will be the first formats that were co-developed from the co-production deal between Redseven Entertainment and the The Gurin Company.
