SevenOne International Secures Polish Deal for ProSieben’s Galileo

MUNICH, April 2: In a deal
brokered by SevenOne International, ProSieben’s science-magazine program Galileo
has been licensed to Polish
broadcaster TV4.

The Polish version will
run under the German title and use material produced by TV4 in addition to
material from ProSieben. Galileo now airs in seven
countries, including Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic, Thailand, China, Russia
and Poland.

“Galileo is a first-rate sciencetainment TV program that
explains common, technical and scientific phenomena in an exciting,
entertaining, and understandable way,” says Jens Richter, the managing director
of SevenOne International. “TV audiences are fascinated—not only in
Germany but also abroad.”

SevenOne International is
the worldwide distributor for Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 Group, and sells
programs from Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24 in international markets, as
well as acting as a service provider for third parties.
