Series Mania Unveils Highlights of 2026 Edition

Series Mania’s 2026 edition, taking place March 20 to 27, has announced the highlights of its program, including the world premiere of Disney+’s The Testaments opening the event.

The Testaments’ showrunner Bruce Miller (The Handmaid’s Tale, Eureka…) and members of the creative team will be in attendance.

The 2026 edition of Series Mania features a strong international lineup. The U.K. is represented twice in the international competition and three times in the international panorama competition. Flemish Belgium appears twice in the international panorama competition, as does Poland.

Laurence Herszberg, general director of Series Mania; Frédéric Lavigne, artistic director; and Francesco Capurro, director of Series Mania Forum, noted that this year’s selection reflects greater narrative precision and contained storytelling, a strong engagement with political and societal instability, increased cross-border European collaboration and the consolidation of Europe as a key production hub for global platforms.

Series Mania Forum will bring together more than 5,000 professionals from 75 countries, with high-level keynotes from Fremantle, Disney, Showtime and more; panels; pitching sessions; and residencies. Key highlights include the Co-Pro Pitching Sessions, with 15 projects seeking international financing; Shoot the Book, connecting producers with literary works available for adaptation; and the Buyers Upfront and Coming Next From, dedicated to content acquisitions. The Forum will conclude with the Lille Dialogues, for which the 2026 theme is “The New Alliances.”

Korea will be the inaugural country of honor for Series Mania.
