September Films to Produce New Doc for Channel 4

LONDON, April 17: Channel
4 has commissioned September Films to produce the hour-long documentary The
Baby With Two Faces for its
Bodyshock strand.

September Films secured
worldwide exclusive access, following a bidding war for TV rights. The
documentary tells the story of an Indian baby who was born in perfect health,
but with two faces. The documentary follows the family from the very beginning,
as doctors attempt to diagnose the cause of the condition and how to solve it.

Sheldon Lazarus, the
creative director for September Films, said: “The Baby With Two Faces deals with the very sensitive and poignant subject
of a child who has survived against all odds, but who still needs urgent
medical treatment. Having exec produced both Half-ton Mum and I Am the Elephant Man I feel able to tell the story without
sensationalizing the subject matter ensuring the film remains balanced.”
