RollBots Bags New Deals in Central & South America

BEVERLY HILLS/OTTAWA: Televix Entertainment has finalized several broadcast deals for Amberwood Entertainment’s CGI animated series RollBots in Central and South America.

Since presenting the series to regional broadcasters at NATPE, deals have been secured with Medcom TV in Panama, Televicentro in Nicaragua and ZAZ, a pay-TV broadcaster operated by MVS Networks, covering Spanish-speaking Latin America. Further terrestrial deals are expected to follow.

The 26 half-hour CGI animated series premiered this past February on Canada’s YTV. The series is complemented by an extensive online gaming world at RollBots.com. 4Kids Entertainment, the worldwide merchandise licensing agent for RollBots, also holds U.S. broadcast rights and is scheduled to air the series this year on its Saturday morning TheCW4Kids block.

"Televix is doing a fantastic job in their region and we are excited for RollBots to hit the small screen in this part of the world," said Jonathan Wiseman, the senior VP of Amberwood.
