What are some of your top properties for MIPTV?
Terra Antarctica, Stripped: Greg Friedler’s Naked Las Vegas, The Edge of Never, Juanita Castro: Fidel’s Sister in Exile, Made in L.A.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
Terra Antarctica: One of my favorites this market. An incredible HD exploration of the Antartic region. Jon Bowermaster, a National Gepgraphioc “Explorer in Residence” takes the audience through a friendly but a cautious look at a region where politics and commerce mix with the beauty and wildlife of this frozen world.
Stripped: Greg Friedler’s Naked Las Vegas: Some broadcasters are looking to fill their sex slots with naked people who have a purpose. Greg Friedler is well known for his previous books Naked New York and Naked London, now comes Naked Las Vegas. It’s fun and sexy at the same time – which may have something to do with his subjects, a cross section of people from Las Vegas, taking their clothes off. The (dressed) before and (naked) after shots are both incredibly revealing.
The Edge of Never: Dramatic ski stories that are well told – are rare. Most depend on continuous action shots, however, this title was based on a amazing book and tells a tremendous story that includes real ski legends like Anselme Baud , Stephane “FanFan” Dan and Glen Plake. They take a son to finish a ski run that his father lost his life on in Chamonix, France.
Juanita Castro: Fidel’s Sister in Exile: Fidel Castro’s life is coming to the end of his life. Many people are not aware that he had a sister who helped in the revolution and later decided not to support him or his government. She worked for the CIA and later fled Cuba, denouncing him and Communism. This is her first and only extended interview with the amazing backstory about his rise to power.
Made in L.A.: After playing in more than 70 festivals, this close up view of underpaid and overworked garment workers rising up for better wages and working conditions is truly inspiring….this is a picture of the other side of Globalization, the one we rarely hear about.

What are your goals and expectations for MIPTV?
2009 was a varied year and its over. For Solid Entertainment 2010 seems to be a stronger year already. In preparing for MIP this year we’ve had some excellent new programs come our way. Our goal is simply to continue providing outstanding programming to our broadcast clients. We generally roll out new titles at MIPDOC at the start of the year, and our expectation is to have buyers screen at MIPDOC and head over to our stand to make offers. It’s the best part of the market for us and we have some great titles at MIPDOC 2010.
