Record Attendance Expected for DISCOP

BUDAPEST, June 19: DISCOP, which kicks off this week in
Budapest, is expecting 1,325 individual participants, a 36-percent increase on
last year.

The event, now in its 15th year, anticipates 786
buyers representing 370 companies, including 54 from Hungary, 30 from Russia,
35 from Romania, 26 from Ukraine and 23 from Serbia-Montenegro. In terms of
sellers, the market expects 422 representatives from 280 companies, including
45 from the U.S. and 28 from Central and Eastern Europe.

Highlights for the market include a special screening of the
documentary Freedom’s Fury, which opens
the event on Thursday, marking the 50th anniversary of the Hungarian
revolution.
