ProSiebenSat.1’s Red Arrow Invests in U.S. Outfit

MUNICH: ProSiebenSat.1’s production and distribution arm, Red Arrow Entertainment Group, has acquired a 51-percent interest in Kinetic Content, the venture established by former RDF USA CEO Chris Coelen.

Coelen established Kinetic earlier this year following four years heading up RDF Media’s U.S. operations. He previously was a partner at United Talent Agency. Red Arrow’s Kinetic investment is part of its strategy to expand its network of international production companies and boost its catalogue—Kinetic Content’s creative output will be sold worldwide by SevenOne International. (Other Red Seven entities include Producers at Work, Magic Flight Film, Redseven Entertainment, Sultan Sushi Belgium and Sultan Sushi Netherlands, as well as partnerships with Dick de Rijk, Omri Marcus and Phil Gurin.)
