ProSiebenSat.1 Reports Revenue, Profit Gains

MUNICH, May 10: First quarter revenues at ProSiebenSat.1
Group rose 7.7 percent to 501.2 million euros, delivering a consolidated profit
of 40.6 million euros, a 32.2 percent gain on this time last year.

At Sat.1, revenues were up 5.2 percent to 204.2 million
euros, and the pre-tax profit grew 34.5 percent to 44.1 million euros.
ProSieben recorded revenue growth of 9.3 percent, to 170.6 million euros, but
pre-tax profit fell from 7.4 million euros to 6.5 million euros.

kabel eins reported a 14.9 percent revenue gain to 64.1
million euros, and pre-tax profit was up 73 percent to 19.9 million euros. At
the news station N24, there was a 12.8 percent revenue gain to 22.9 million
euros, and pre-tax profit jumped 84.2 percent to 3.5 million euros.

The Transaction TV segment, driven by the interactive
programming channel 9Live, posted revenues of 27.7 million euros, a 5.7 percent
gain. Operating profit, however, fell 25.4 percent to 5 million euros.

The Diversification segment’s total revenues were up 21.6
percent to 37.1 million euros, driven by online and gaming business and
international programming sales. The operating profit was down 27.5 percent to
3.7 million euros.
