Promotion at Carat Entertainment/MY Entertainment Company

NEW YORK, July 17: Sara
Chazen has been promoted to senior VP and head of development and production at
MY Entertainment Company and Carat Entertainment.

MY Entertainment Company,
whose credits include Spike TV’s Pros vs. Joes, is a division of Carat Entertainment, the
branded-entertainment arm of Carat USA.

In her new role, she will
continue to be responsible for creating and producing scripted and alternative concepts
for network and cable television.

“Over the past two years,
Sara’s leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of television development and
production, and vast network of industry contacts have proven to be a valuable
asset to our company,” said Michael Yudin, the president of MY Entertainment
Company and managing director of Carat Entertainment, to whom Chazen reports.

Since 2006, Chazen has
served as head of development and production for the New York-based MY
Entertainment Company. She currently executive produces two original series, Stolichnaya
presents BE REAL, on LOGO, and Tease, on Oxygen. She has also developed and created network pilots for Court TV, E! and
The N.

Prior to joining MY
Entertainment Company, Chazen founded her own content producer, Organized Chaos
Productions. Here she created and developed shows for A&E, Lifetime and
MTV. She also produced E!’s Hollywood Hold ‘Em series.
