Production Begins on New YTV Live-Action Series

TORONTO, July 9: marblemedia
and Corus Entertainment have begun production on 13 half-hour episodes of the
new live-action series The Adrenaline Project, which is slated for broadcast on YTV in Canada in late September.

Hosted by Richard Cazeau (formerly of MuchMoreMusic), each episode of The Adrenaline Project features five new thrill-seeking teens who undergo
rigorous, and sometimes unusual, physical and mental obstacles to prepare them
for a surprise extreme challenge. Beginning at a remote Base Camp, the
contestants work with Drill Sergeant Boomer, who primes them for the final
mystery competition. In the end, only one challenger will remain to earn the
title of Ultimate Adrenalite.

The Adrenaline Project
is a great fit for YTV and we’re thrilled to be working with the award-winning
team at marblemedia on another project,” said Scott Dyer, the executive VP and
general manager of kids at Corus Entertainment. “This new addition to our
reality programming block shows our commitment to deliver the unique and
exciting programs that kids want to watch.”
