Prisa Makes Offer for Media Capital

MADRID, October 31: Spain’s Grupo Prisa has made a bid to
take full control of Portugal’s Media Capital, which operates broadcaster TVI,
for 7.40 euros per share, which is below the media company’s current share
price of 8.30 euros.

Prisa currently owns a 33 percent stake in Media Capital,
which operates the terrestrial TVI and the producer NBP. It also owns radio,
press and outdoor advertising operations.
