Presidents for News & Sports Announced at Univision

NEW YORK: Journalist Isaac Lee takes up the president post for the news division at Univision, while Alexander "Sandy" Brown is to serve as president of sports.

Lee most recently founded and served as chairman and editor-in-chief of the magazine Poder. In his new role at Univision, Lee will be responsible for leading the company’s news division, with strategic and editorial oversight for programming and production across the Univision Networks, Univision Local Media and Univision Interactive Media. He will be based in Miami and report to Cesar Conde, the president of Univision Networks.

Brown was previously the CEO of media representation firm Petry Holding. He will now lead Univision’s company-wide sports strategy and operations, overseeing sports programming across all platforms. Brown will be based in New York and also reports to Conde.

Alina Falcón, a 26-year company veteran who was currently leading news and sports programming and production, is becoming a consultant and special advisor for Univision.
