Portfolio to Launch Pair of New Kids’ Properties

TORONTO: Portfolio International is to launch sales for Brilhante F.C. and Young Abraham at MIPCOM.

Brilhante F.C. is a teen dramedy about five girls who form the first all-girl football team in a small town in Brazil. The series is produced by Mixer for TV Brasil and is comprised of 26 half-hour episodes.

The 48-minute CGI animated movie Young Abraham is about the early years of the biblical Abraham. It is produced by BKC Productions.

“Strong messages and superior production quality are what makes these titles so appealing,” said Louis Fournier, the VP of sales and acquisitions at Portfolio Entertainment. “Tweens all over the world will relate to the stories in Brilhante, and Young Abraham will provide a wonderful co-viewing experience for families.”
