Polish Version of Telefe Romantic Comedy Prepped for TVP

BUENOS AIRES: Endemol Polska has started production on the Polish version of Telefe International’s The Successful Mr. and Mrs. Pells, which will launch in the fall on TVP.

TVP will launch the show under the local title Informacje 2 Drugiej Reki (translated in English as Second Hand News). The show will take a daily slot Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. on TVP, with a debut set for mid-September. Advanced negotiations are under way in Poland for three other Telefe fiction formats—Wild Angel, Don Juan and His Fair Lady: Songs from the Heart and The One—with different production companies.

Telefe also has an adaptation of The Roldans in production in Greece for Mega to air in prime time starting in the second quarter of 2011. In Ukraine, the comedy A Year to Remember is being adapted. An option was secured in Turkey for Just in Time.
