Playboy TV Launches New Male-Skewing Short-Form Format

LOS ANGELES, October 16: Playboy TV has launched Playboy
Prime
, a new daily prime-time format
featuring short-form programming that is designed to appeal to the “YouTube
Generation,” its key 18- to 34-year-old male viewer demographic.

Airing every night from 8 p.m. though 11 p.m., Playboy
Prime
’s short-format shows include the best
series from Playboy TV like Totally Busted, Naked Happy Girls and Sexcetera as well as new additions like Playboy News and The Playboy Radio Minute (uncensored video from the studios of Playboy
Radio), and Hot Babes Doing Stuff Naked, a popular series in which viewers email in scenarios for Playboy TV’s
“Hot Babes” to perform while naked. The new comedy series, Canoga
Park
, premiering in November, chronicles the
misadventures of a hapless adult film mogul and his crew as he dreams of
producing the ultimate adult film blockbuster.

“The response to the new format has been tremendous,” stated
Todd Schwartz, Playboy TV’s VP of programming. “The new broader programming mix
has struck a chord with our viewers and we believe we’ll increase the overall
time spent viewing Playboy TV.”
