Peter Gawler Joins Screentime’s Drama Department

SYDNEY, March 12: Screentime
has appointed Peter Gawler as its head of drama development, reporting to Greg
Haddrick, the head of drama at the Australian television production company.

Gawler has won five AWGIE
Awards and has been nominated for several AFI Awards for his scriptwriting on
programs such as Little Oberon, The
Postcard Bandit, Halifax f.p., MDA,
Water Rats and The
Violent Earth. Gawler has also been awarded
a Centenary Medal for Services to Society in Writing for Australian Television.
