Mark Prasuhn Assumes Programming Duties for S-VOX

TORONTO, March 12: Toronto-based S-VOX, whose services
include the multi-faith, multicultural broadcaster VisionTV, has announced that
its COO and GM, Mark Prasuhn will assume the company’s programming
responsibilities on an interim basis following the retirement of Chris Johnson.

Johnson's retirement marks the
end of his six-year tenure as the senior VP of programming for S-VOX properties
that include the multi-faith channel VisionTV and its sister digital services:
One: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel and The Christian Channel. While at
S-VOX, he launched new ventures in the field of factual programming,
revitalized the network's weekday family block, and championed the acquisition
of some of its most consistent ratings performers, including The Gaither
Gospel Hour
and McLeod's
Daughters
. During Johnson's tenure,
VisionTV also took part in major international co-productions such as The
Lost Tomb of Jesus
and Secret
Files of the Inquisition
.

Prasuhn joined S-VOX in January
2001, and was appointed COO in November of the same year. In this role, he
oversees the organization's sales, business development, marketing and communications
and affiliate relations functions. Prasuhn has also led the successful launch
of the S-VOX digital services. Prior to joining S-VOX, he was COO of Minds Eye
Pictures in Regina, Saskatchewan. In addition, he spent five years as GM of the
Saskatchewan Film and Video Development Corporation (SaskFILM), and eight years
with TVOntario.
