PBS Picks Up Snow Queen

LONDON/OTTAWA, October 4: Total Eclipse Television, PKJ
Music and Amberwood Entertainment have announced the sale of the television
rights to the holiday special The Snow Queen to PBS.

DVDs, CDs and books based on the film will all be available
in time for Thanksgiving. Based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, the
special features live-action actors on CG backgrounds, created by the London
studio Intro, set to a score by the U.K.’s Paul K. Joyce. It first aired on the
BBC and CBC last December. Worldwide distribution is handled by BBC Worldwide,
excluding North America.
