Parthenon Sells Package of Crime Fare

LONDON, December 4:
Parthenon Entertainment has secured two deals for a package of three crime
series from Story House Productions: The
Real NCIS
, Real Interrogations and
Judgement Day.

Crime & Investigation
Network in the U.K. and FOXTEL in Australia have both taken on the three
titles. The Real NCIS follows
real-life detectives who investigate crimes committed within the U.S. Navy
anywhere in the world. Real
Interrogations
looks at true crimes, real criminals and the interrogators
who try to break them. Judgement Day examines
how the 24 hours of sentencing day in a capital crime trial affects all the
major players involved in the case.

Peter Pas,
Parthenon's commercial director of factual, said, "We knew that these
fascinating crime series from Story House would be a hit with producers the
world over, and to have that confirmation in the Crime & Investigation
Network and FOXTEL Australia snapping them up immediately is a fantastic coup.
It is an ideal platform for these films, which are brilliantly made, fast-paced
and absorbing, and are sure to pull in top ratings for them."

Louise Dillon, the senior manager of
program content for Crime &
Investigation Network, added, "Parthenon always have great product and as
soon as we were offered these shows we knew we had to have them. Their dramatic
HD content makes for compelling viewing, and they fit perfectly in with our
schedule and our demographic."

Jim
Buchan, the general manager of factual programming acquisitions at FOXTEL,
commented, "These exclusive series are a perfect fit for us and I am
pleased to add them to our 2009 schedule. They are all impressive
shows—exciting, gripping and current and I am sure they will deliver
strong audience figures for the Crime and Investigation Channel in Australia
and New Zealand."
