Paramount’s Q4 Revenues Rise, Profit Loss Grows

In the fourth quarter, Paramount’s total revenues grew 2 percent year-over-year to $8.1 billion, while profit loss grew to $573 million, compared to a loss of $224 million in the prior year’s Q4.

Paramount+ revenues grew 17 percent to $1.8 billion, and subscribers rose 4 percent to 78.9 million. This drove the jump in director-to-consumer revenues, which rose 10 percent to $2.2 billion. DTC revenues from non-Paramount+ sources, primarily Pluto, dropped 16 percent year-over-year.

Filmed entertainment revenues rose 16 percent year-over-year, primarily due to the consolidation of Skydance licensing and other revenues, partially offset by a significant decline in theatrical revenues as compared against Q4 of 2024.

TV media revenues slipped 5 percent to $4.7 billion, driven by advertising declines and a decline in affiliate revenues.

Looking forward, Paramount forecasts total revenues in Q1 of $7.15 billion to $7.35 billion. For the full year, Paramount expects total revenues of $30 billion.
