Pan American Games Broadcast Live on YouTube for the First Time

YouTube has signed an agreement with Mediapro to air the Lima 2019 Pan American Games live on the online video platform for the first time ever.

The Games are currently airing on Mediapro’s official YouTube channel, bringing the competition to viewers around the world, except the Americas and Turkey, and providing a 24/7 broadcast of the events until August 11. The channel will televise the biggest events in the Americas’ largest multi-disciplinary sporting competition, with more than 6,000 athletes taking part across 39 sports and 62 disciplines.

Just a few days into the broadcast, the content from the Lima 2019 Pan American Games has already totaled 200,000 impressions and 400,000 minutes of watch time. Spain, Italy, the U.K., Japan and Australia head the list for the most views by country.
