ORF Clinches Pre-MIPCOM Fiction Sales

VIENNA: Iran’s IRIB has taken on more than 80 hours of fiction programming from the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), including a package of six TV movies.

Further titles in the IRIB buy include the crime series K-Files and Trautmann. The TV movies were Sugar Granny, The Shadow Clock, Bear on the Run, Black Lion, Stubborn Men 1+2 and docs from ORF’s Universum and science brand.

A further deal for ORF sees Danish pubcaster DR acquire the first season of Fast Forward. The series features a young female inspector who is a divorced single mother, as well as a successful investigator at Vienna’s criminal investigation department. ORF will present the second season, available for mid-2010, at MIPCOM.
