ohm:tv Extends Portfolio of Mobile TV Channels

BARCELONA, March 21: The Cologne- and Barcelona-based ohm:tv
has extended its portfolio of mobile TV channels with the launch of Girlz and
The Line.

Girlz and The Line are produced by mango tv mobile. Girlz,
which began airing on Hutchison in Austria in February, is the first mobile TV
channel dedicated to teenage girls, with programs featuring fashion, lifestyle,
the latest gossip on international stars as well as short movies and animation
series. The channel identity has been developed by Israeli production house Chooz.
The Line, which is also airing on Hutchison, is a new music channel that offers
live concerts, backstage footage, tour reports and short movies about music.

ohm:tv has also picked up the international distribution
rights for RocketTV, the first mobile TV channel dedicated to alternative rock,
for launch at this year’s MIPTV. The channel, produced by Berlin-based
Freshmilk Entertainment in cooperation with various music labels, features the
latest bands and releases in rock and includes exclusive interviews and
backstage news from the worlds leading festivals.

ohm:tv mobile has six different mobile TV channels currently
on air in Europe, including Crime Scene TV and Shortz, a short movie channel.
Both channels have been on air for nearly two years and are debuting in Sweden
and Denmark in several weeks. mango tv, the lifestyle channel, is now available
to viewers in Germany through Vodafone.
