NonStop Sales Highlights Preschool Feature

STOCKHOLM: NonStop Sales is presenting at MIPCOM the first feature film for the property WHO?, based on the popular book series. 

The WHO? films are based on the books of the same name and are produced in close collaboration with Stina Wirsén, children’s’ book author and illustrator. The theatrical feature film will make its world premiere in Sweden today, with distribution by Fokets Bio. NonStop is offering WHO? Films for the Little Ones as a 30-minute theatrical feature as well as an 8×4-minute TV series. The episodes will air on Sveriges Television in Sweden. FilmTecknarna Fiction is currently developing more episodes.

"We really wanted to fill the gap of good quality films for preschool children," said Linda Hambäck, producer at FilmTecknarna Fiction. "Knowing that the WHO? books have been so successful for smaller children we contacted Stina Wirsén, who has been approached many times before. She felt that our ideas and respect to keep the characters’ originality could bring life to the books, and after the gala premiere this Sunday with hundreds of children, we happily concluded that we had succeeded to transfer the children’s love for the books to the screens."
