Nicola McAllister Joins Janson Media

HARRINGTON PARK: Nicola McAllister has been appointed as a sales executive at Janson Media, where she will be responsible for TV and VOD markets in Eastern Europe. 

Previously, McAllister worked as a sales exec for Network Ireland Television for six years before moving to the U.S. in 2003. In her new post, McAllister’s territories will include Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania.

“We have seen tremendous growth in acquisitions from these territories in recent years, and to grow this business we have attended markets such as DISCOP in Budapest and the World Content Market in Prague,” said Stephen Janson, the president of Janson Media.

“I have known Nicola since her days working with my friend Derry O’Brien, and I was always impressed by her enthusiasm and her natural sales ability,” added Janson. “I think we’re very fortunate that she wanted to come back into the business just as we were looking to hire someone.”
