Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group Prep New Mobile Websites

NEW YORK, March 20: Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and
Family Group is launching three new mobile websites, with branded content from
Nickelodeon, The N and ParentsConnect.

The Nick mobile website includes a selection
of kid-oriented content, such as games, pictures, polls and flipbooks, along
with show and schedule information. In the coming months, Nickelodeon, in
partnership with MangoMOBILE, will add additional games to the Nick mobile
website, as well as additional mini-sites centered on big network TV events.
The site also features voting capabilities for Nickelodeon’s 2008 Kids’
Choice Awards
, taking place on March 29.

The N mobile website, which launches early in
the second quarter of this year, will feature teen-focused content. Among the
features are games, quizzes, flipbooks and blogs with news, reviews and more.
The N’s on-air schedule is also available.

Additionally, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family
Group is set to launch a parent-themed mobile website, following later in the
third quarter. The WAP site will provide parents and caregivers access to daily
tips, activities, product recommendations and expert parenting information. It
will also include the service GoCityKids.com, which provides comprehensive
information on local activities, restaurants, playgrounds and more.

"Our goal at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and
Family Group is to create content on all media platforms for our audiences in
order to deepen [the] engagement with them," said Steve Youngwood, the
executive VP of digital media for MTVN/Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group.
"Wireless is a growing interactive platform and screen for both kids and
families. Tweens today are spending close to four hours each week using mobile
web services, and that penetration increases to more than 20 percent for mobile
teens at age 13. Penetration is even stronger with parents. With these new WAP
sites, we can provide relevant content to all of our audiences whenever they
want and wherever they are."
