Nickelodeon Spain Purchases The Sleepover Club

NORTH SYDNEY, June 27:
Nickelodeon Spain has acquired The Sleepover Club from Southern Star International.

The live-action series,
based on Rose Impey’s popular books, revolves around the lives of five teenage
girls who form their own secret society. The television version of The
Sleepover Club
has already been
sold to the U.K., Canada, France, Germany,
Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Pan Asia,
Croatia, Middle East, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Latin America,
Bosnia/Herzegovina, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia and Gibraltar.

“Live action series are becoming increasingly popular among kids in
Spain, especially girls, and Sleepover Club from Southern Star serves
this growing demand,” said Christina Guzman, the channel director of
Nickelodeon Spain. “The series’ kid-centric point of view, high quality
production and, most of all, humour, fit well with Nickelodeon and will really
appeal to our audiences.”
