Nickelodeon Latin America, SPTI Team for Original Telenovela Series

MIAMI, May 8: Nickelodeon
Latin America has completed a deal with Sony Pictures Television International
(SPTI) to co-produce Isa TKM (Te
Quiero Mucho
), its first original
telenovela, to be produced in Venezuela.

The novela will be
produced in Spanish and customized in Portuguese for Nickelodeon Brazil. Isa
TKM
, written by Venezuelan
playwright Mariela Romero, mixes humor, music and romance. The show centers on
Isabella, a teenager on the verge of facing her first love, her first kiss and
finding out who her parents are. Production is set to begin in August, with a
pan-regional premiere slated for winter 2008.

in Latin America.”
