Nick Latin America Takes Breakthrough Titles

MIAMI/NEW YORK, February 8: Nickelodeon Latin America has
picked up the rights to two animated properties from Breakthrough
Entertainment: Captain Flamingo and Jimmy
Two Shoes
.

Captain Flamingo is set
for a spring premiere, followed by Jimmy Two Shoes in the fall. The deal includes 65 half-hour episodes
of Captain Flamingo plus two
30-minute episodes comprised of multiplatform short clips, and 52 half-hour
episodes for Jimmy Two Shoes.

Captain Flamingo
features the adventures of pint-sized hero Milo Powell and his best pal,
anonymous sidekick and not-so-secret admirer, Lizbeth. Jimmy Two
Shoes
sees an angelic boy accidentally
being shipped off to alternative underworld run by Lucy, the wretched-loving
CEO of Misery Incorporated.

“Our audience will be able to relate to Captain Flamingo and Jimmy Two Shoes’ optimistic ‘can-do’ attitude and the two programs
will only add to our strong lineup of programming,” said Tatiana Rodriguez, the
VP of programming and creative strategy at Nickelodeon Latin America. “Both animations are filled with funny,
original and dynamic characters with great storylines and we’re excited to
bring these characters to our viewers in the region.”
