Nick Jr. Greenlights Second Season of Yo Gabba Gabba!

NEW YORK, December 19: Nick Jr. has ordered a second season
of 20 new episodes of its live-action preschool music series Yo Gabba Gabba! from producers The Magic Store and W!ILDBRAIN.

Production for the second season will commence in spring
2008 in Orange County, California.

Through an original beat-driven soundtrack, Yo Gabba
Gabba!
highlights simple life lessons for
preschoolers, like sharing and healthy eating. It follows a magazine format
that features animation, walk-around puppets, real kids, diverse music genres
and celebrity and musical guest appearances in every episode. Past guest
appearances include Elijah Wood, Mya, The Shins, Sugarland, Rahzel, Tony Hawk,
Laila Ali, Sean Kingston, Nikki Flores, Hector Jimenez, Smoosh, The Aquabats,
The Aggrolites and Cornelius. The series premiered on Nick Jr. in August.
