Nick Greenlights Additional Episodes of Just Jordan

SANTA MONICA,
October 23: Nickelodeon has picked up seven additional episodes of its teen
comedy series Just Jordan, bringing its second-season total to 20 episodes.

The show will
be moving to a new day and time—Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.—beginning on
November 3. The new season will also feature the addition of Warren Hutcherson
(The Bernie Mac Show)
as executive producer and Teri Schaffer (The Bernie Mac Show), David Hoge and Dan Cross as
co-executive producers.

Just Jordan centers on take-charge teen Jordan
Lewis, played by Lil’ JJ, who splits his time between school and waiting tables
at his grandfather's legendary diner. The second season will kick off with a
special episode guest-starring Keke Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee) as a teen star who Jordan meets in the
middle of paparazzi chaos.

"The show
tackles that fun time of adolescence when you consider yourself 'all grown up'
but there's so much left to learn,” said Marjorie Cohn, the executive VP of
development and original programming at Nickelodeon. “Jordan and his friends
are putting themselves out there and finding out you can't always predict what
comes back. This season the show tapes in front of a live audience, which makes
JJ's performance shine, lifting the comedy to a whole new level."
