NGTI Shores Up German Sales

LONDON, February 11: National Geographic Television
International (NGTI) has concluded a number of sales to German broadcasters
including Super RTL, N24 and Kabel 1.

Super RTL has picked up an initial package of nine hours of
programming from NGTI, including ancient history and wildlife titles such as Tales
from the Tomb, Dangerous Encounters
and Prehistoric
Hunters.

N24 acquired a package of 17 hours, selecting more
male-skewing, science-based properties, including two
hours of Mega Bridges, three hours of Ultimate
Factories
and Inside a Super Carrier, as well as the current-affairs show Aryan Brotherhood and History’s Secrets: The Hunt for Hitler.

Meanwhile, Kabel 1 purchased a
stand-alone hour of the prison series Lockdown and the wildlife-meets-science program Ultimate Shark.
