New VP of Program Scheduling at Cartoon Network

ATLANTA: Rob O’Neill is to fill the newly created post of VP of program scheduling at Cartoon Network.

O’Neill’s responsibilities will include supervising the day-to-day on-air program scheduling of both Cartoon Network and Boomerang. He also will serve as departmental lead for long-range calendar planning, working to develop creative strategies for on-air stunts and special events surrounding the network’s growing library of original, acquired and classic animated and live-action family-targeted programming. He will be based in Atlanta and report to Stacey Isenhower, the senior VP of programming and scheduling for Cartoon Network and Boomerang

O’Neill previously spent 13 years at Disney ABC Cable Networks Group, where he worked in programming strategy and acquisitions.
