New Torchwood Installment to Be Launched at MIPTV

LONDON: The stars of the hit sci-fi drama Torchwood, John Barrowman and Bill Pullman, are heading to Cannes to launch the fourth installment in the franchise, Torchwood: Miracle Day, from BBC Worldwide. 

Barrowman returns as Captain Jack Harkness, joined in the new season by Pullman. Executive producer Julie Gardner, the senior VP of scripted at BBC Worldwide Productions, will also be in Cannes. Gardner has worked on all four installments of Torchwood.

Torchwood: Miracle Day is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions for Starz Entertainment, BBC Cymru Wales and BBC Worldwide.

BBC Worldwide will also be presenting at MIPTV a sixth season of Doctor Who, a second season of Luther, season three of Being Erica, a fourth season of Primeval and a second season of Misfits. New dramas include Upstairs Downstairs, South Riding, The Night Watch, Outcasts and Bedlam.
