New TLC Docuseries Looks at Female Police Officers

LOS ANGELES: Police Women of Broward County, a new 10-part docuseries for TLC, spotlights a group of females working in a Florida sherrif’s office, providing unprecedented access to the agency’s inner workings.

Premiering August 6 at 9 p.m. on TLC, the show follows the lives of four women as they balance the needs of their families with the demands of their dangerous job. The hour-long episodes go inside the Broward county sheriff’s office, which services nearly 2 million residents, from gang bust to car chases to sting operations. Police Women of Broward County is produced by Relativity Media, with Tom Forman and Alex Rader as the executive producers.
