MUNICH: SevenOne International has sold the family entertainment format Extreme Activity to Estonia’s Kanal 2, which will debut the game show on September 17.

Airing under the local title Sõnasõda, which translates as "War of Words," the show will air weekly in prime time at 8:30 p.m. The game show pits guys against girls in the ultimate battle of the sexes. Two celebrity teams—three men against three women—compete in ten rounds where celebs have 90 seconds to draw, describe or pantomime terms that are shown to them.

Jaanus Noormets, an acquisitions executive at Kanal 2, said: "Throughout the years we have aired various local versions of world-class game shows and when we saw Extreme Activity it seemed a really good fit for our channel as well."

Axel Böhm, the regional sales director and head of international fiction acquisitions at SevenOne International, commented: "We cannot wait to win over Estland viewers. They will love to see their favourite celebrities in action. I am absolutely positive the show will have the entire family roaring with laughter."
