New Hire, Promotion at Twentieth Century Fox’s Latin American Unit

LOS ANGELES, April 30:
Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has made several changes at its
Latin American operation, appointing Jose Luis Gascue as the VP of Latin
America sales, and upping Ricardo Rubini from director to VP of Latin America
sales.

Based in Miami, Gascue
will be involved in free and basic-cable TV distribution in Mexico, Venezuela,
Puerto Rico, Central America and non-U.S. Caribbean territories. Since 2006,
Gascue was the VP of Latin America for Beverly Hills Entertainment. Prior to
that, he served as the director of operations and sales in Latin America for NBC
Universal Television Distribution; as manager of legal business affairs for HBO
Latin America Media Services; and as manager of business affairs for HBO OLE
Latin America Group.

Meanwhile, in his new
expanded role, Rubini, a six-year veteran of Twentieth Century Fox, will now
also be responsible for TV distribution activities in Latin America’s South
Cone region, including Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Columbia, Chile, Bolivia,
Uruguay, Paraguay and Ecuador.

“I’m delighted at the
promotion of our long-time colleague Ricardo Rubini and the addition of Jose
Luis Gascure to our Latin American operation, said Elie Wahba, Twentieth
Century Fox Television Distribution’s senior VP of Latin America and Caribbean.
“Jose is a respected and accomplished distribution executive with an impeccable
reputation in the region, while Ricardo has a proven track record of success at
FOX.”
